Comprehensive Windows system administration desktop application combining disk management, network diagnostics, SQL Server tools, and real-time system health monitoring. Built with Python and PyQt6 to provide systems administrators and database professionals with an integrated toolkit for performance optimization and troubleshooting.
Four Integrated Modules
- Storage Tools: Disk overview with capacity metrics, large file discovery, temp file cleanup, and duplicate file detection with safe deletion
- Network Tools: Real-time network activity graphs, ping diagnostics, DNS lookup, speed testing, and comprehensive network information
- SQL Tools: SQL Server connection management, task monitoring, process tracking, and job scheduling for database administrators
- System Health: Real-time dashboard with CPU, memory, disk usage graphs and detailed system information with smooth Task Manager-style visualizations
Technical Implementation
Desktop application using Python 3, PyQt6 GUI framework, psutil for system monitoring, and pyodbc for SQL Server integration. Demonstrates system-level programming, real-time data visualization, and database connectivity—skills that complement healthcare IT database work.
